Today when I finished reading of the Einstein and the Poet: In Search of the Cosmic Man by William Hermanns, a brighter picture of Prof. Einstein is formed in my mind.
However William Hermanns as a poet asked him not more than some dreamy unneeded questions but there are some valuable answers in his book too. He had four meeting with Einstein between 1930 in Berlin and 1954 in Princeton and tried to enforce him to talk about himself and his ideas about war, peace, world, science, religion and so on.
In March of 1930, when he's going to visit Einstein for the first time, he finds two suspicious person - a man and a woman - near the Einstein's apartment. They were (accurately the man was)angry because of a simple story that had been sent to Einstein and he hadn't much time to read it and send it back to the man. He told some bullshit about exploiting the apartment if they don't give him his wonderful story! So, after Hermanns told about the man, Einstein agreed to go to the police station. Einstein didn't get hurt in this adventure but in any of the visits (even in 1954!) Hermanns remembers this accident for the Prof. Einstein and the funny note is that he introduced himself as the savior of Einstein! While in the last time in 1954 Einstein says:
"Oh! Dr. Hermanns, Please don't remember that adventure to me again!"
The key point of Einstein's speech is about his Cosmic Religion I think. That the whole exactly conforms to mine, However I didn't know the name. Cosmic Religion is about understanding and feeling God in the regularity of the world, in math and in the nature, and believer is the ones who loves to and tries to discover the rules of the universe. There's no difference among Judaism, Christianity, Islam or Buddhism. There's no difference among nations, blood or descent. Don't think about Labels, Just think about what you should do. think about the peace, kindness, humanity.
Another issue I wana talk about is a woman who known as "Angel of POWs". Elsa Brändström, is a Swedish woman went to Siberia in 1915 as a nurse of Red Cross to introduce basic medical treatment for the German POWs. She remained in Russia to help until she was arrested in Omsk in 1920. I'm really proud to know her. God bless her.
A lot of people had been lived in the world. Some were wilds and criminals like Adolf Hitler, and some were real angels. Now when you look at the history of the world, just angels are shining as a star and you could never forget them. Some one like Elsa Brändström.
